So here is the something new that I created the other day. It was really fun. I took two frames to make one picture and this is what I came up with! I think this will be my next wedding gift:)

Congratulations Lisa & Bill
You know that friend of yours that is so bubbly and happy all the time? And you enjoy being around them because they always make you smile? Well thats Lisa! What a great friend I have made. We work at the same place and I told her about my wedding pages when I heard that she got engaged and so she decided to have some made for her wedding! I was so excited, especially when I saw how beautiful and colorful her pictures turned out. Just take a look.
So some of the layouts may look familiar to some earlier ones but thats because Lisa like some of those so well that she wanted them duplicated onto hers. What a cute couple!

I'm Back!!!
Wow, what a great summer that was and here I am in the middle of Fall and still trying to catch up on everything. We had a wedding and what a great time we all had. It pretty much consumed all of my summer with all of the fun planning we had to do.
In August we had a dinner for the wedding party and it turned out just like we planned. Great right!! Usually there are things that tend to go wrong at the last minute but not this time. We decided to have it catered because we found an amazing place that could cater it around the same price it would take us to make everything and this way we didn't have to do all the work. The food turned out excellent!!! Thanks go Apple Spice Junction for all the great food.
And a big thanks to Pintrest for helping us decorate the tables for the dinner! We got some great ideas from there and ended up painting the inside of jars and putting cute little hearts on scewers to stand up in the jars. I also used wrapping paper for the center of the table to add color. That one was my own idea:) I did that at the last wedding we did and it so inexpensive, time saving and turns out really cute.

OH MY GOODNESS WE'RE HAVING A WEDDING!!!
So yes, another wedding!!! We are so excited that our son, Kevin and Heidi are getting married in August. So here are the pages. Their photos turned out so great and they make such a cute couple.
As you can see, her colors are Teal and Coral. They look so beautiful together and compliment each other so well.
They had their pictures in American Fork Canyon in Utah, and apparently it was a beautiful day!
Some of the colors on these photos didn't turn out very well, so sorry about that, because everything really does match, but some of them look quite different from each other. Oh well:)

Cute Cards!
I think a card can say so many things. Especially when it's hand made. I love sending these to my friends and family. Let's face it, we are in such a hurry these days and need everything done so fast, we don't always take the time to personalize our gifts, so for me, a hand made card means so much more than just a gift card.
In fact, have you seen how much a card is these days? The amount you pay for you are actually getting is just ridiculous. And they definitely are not as cute....
I've been selling my cards out of my home now for a few years for only $4 each and that's steal, considering the time I put into most of them. If you happen to be interested please let me know, the price may go up soon:)

Photos become our visual memories. They are the one item that we keep in life and always return to when we want to remember a specific event in our lives or that cute age of someone in our family. I love looking back at pictures when the kids were little and so do they. I also enjoy looking at the background of the picture; it reminds you of all those old things you use to decorate your home with and how grateful you are you got rid of that old dried flower arrangement:)
So when I get invited to a baby shower I love to give the gift of memory. So I make a cute little picture book for them to keep those special memories that make them smile.
These are just a few of the pages I did today for Kaitlin. She is obviously having a little girl and I think she will really enjoy this book. I wish I would of had some cute ones when my kids were little.
A long time ago I made a scrapbook page that said "Parts" on it with six little squares like this one. Each little square will hold a picture of all the cute little close-up parts of the baby. I just love that, babies parts are so adorable, they always make you smile!

The fun thing about weddings is choosing a gift for the couple. Of course that's because I love to go shopping! Now I don't remember every thing I got for my wedding or who gave it to me, but there are a few items that have stood out over the 30 years. Yes, 30 years, I have been married that long! For instance, like the salad bowl we received from a cousin (it must have been the year for salad bowl because we got a TON of them) and on the inside of the bowl was a small card from his cousin that was addressed to him (the cousin)............and then there was another card inside that was to the first person from someone else! It was hilarious, I often wish we would have saved it and just passed it on, collecting all of the cards and adding them to the inside. I wonder where it would have ended up today. That would be something fun to try in the future:)
I like to give something meaningful, however if I find myself not prepared that doesn't always happen. But here is an example of being prepared. I collect old frames and then give them a make-over. Some are sanded and some are painted. Then I just start filling them. I usually start with some paper and then start adding embellishments, which are my favorite. Usually when you are starting out, you don't always think of what you will put on your walls, your just concerned with filling the home with supplies, so I thought this would be something to help the couple get started. Depending on the size, these will start at $30 and go up from there. Let me know if you are interested! I love making these and sharing them with you!

So our cute friend is getting married this month and she asked me a while ago to make the pages for her wedding sign-in book. Yeah, my favorite thing to do. Her colors are a beautiful creamy yellow and a light grey. They look so pretty together. Congratulations Brittany! I found the perfect ribbon with exact colors in them and pleated it across the top and hand stitched it on the page. Loved it!
My Quickutz die cuts were a perfect addition to the corners. They matched the theme just right.
She also said that she wanted the lacey chic look for her book, so I found this the other day. It all came together in one package, Viola!
I also have some nesting die cuts and when I put them together they make the perfect frame.
So I kind of hard to tell on this page, but I actually layered the pictures to give it a 3-D look. She had the same picture in black and white and color so I cut out the two of them from the color picture and using foam dots, I layered it onto the black and white. It looked so awesome, first time for that one and I really like the effects of it.
I've collected a few boarder punches over the years and I love using them! I used a different one on each sheet of paper to give a lacey look to the page.
One of my favorite die cuts is the wings. They are so versatile. After I cut them out I embossed them.
Everybody seemed to like this one:) Its just fun. I love to put a different style of middle in each flower just to mix things up.
